Prodigal Absolute Cayman Fund
Prodigal’s Absolute Cayman Fund is unique in its approach of applying arbitrage tools and methods used in the efficient financial markets of Europe and the USA to the less efficient, opportunity rich, Asian financial markets within a diversified multi strategy portfolio. Established in 2005, Prodigal’s Absolute fund offers investors a combined portfolio of Risk Arbitrage, Convertible Arbitrage and Model Trading strategies across the Asian universe. As of July 2009, the Fund is trading well over its high watermark, and is positioned to generate strong returns over the coming year.
Equity Relative Value Fund
Prodigal opened its Equity Relative Value Fund to investors in response to increased demand for unleveraged, highly liquid, low volatility, low beta strategies that performed well throughout 2008. With favorable liquidity terms (monthly; 20 days) and a Sharpe ratio over 2 since inception we expect the capacity for this strategy is going to be taken up quickly. The fund has returned over 10% annualised since inception with a monthly volatility of returns less than 5%.
